Title IX: Sex and Gender Based Discrimination Prevention Training

This year UA will launch a combined training for employees, students, and university volunteers. 

What you need to know:

  1. Mandatory UA/UAA/UAS training is accessible through Blackboard
  2. Mandatory is accessible through Canvas
  3. UA Safe Title IX Training  completion deadline is October 31, 2024. 

Training is based on university policies and adapted to meet both employee and student training needs. 

This Title IX training course will cover sensitive issues. If you have questions or would like to request to be released from this course please contact your Title IX/Equity and Compliance Office.

For Students 

Students* are required to complete UA Safe Title IX  training annually. 

  • UA/UAA/UAS: training  (Blackboard)
  • UAF: training (Canvas)

For Employees

Employees are required to complete UA Safe Title IX  training annually. The Fall 2024 deadline for training is October 31, 2024. New employees are expected to complete the training within 30 days of hire.
